Girls on the Run is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.
Our Southeastern Michigan organization covers 5 counties, including Washtenaw, Livingston, Lenawee, Monroe, and Jackson, and serves over 2,000 girls each year from the 3rd through 8th grade. At the end of a 10 week after-school program, girls participate in a celebratory untimed 5K event and learn about goal accomplishment and making the seemingly impossible possible.
