Who We Are

Mission: To engage and retain volunteers, both medical and non-medical, to strengthen public health, emergency response and community resilience.

The Livingston County Public Health MRC is committed to mobilizing and maintaining a dedicated corps of volunteers, encompassing both medical and non-medical expertise, to fortify public health, emergency response, and community resilience. Our aim is to collaborate closely with local and regional stakeholders, fostering the development of volunteer resources essential for addressing public health imperatives within our community. By ensuring preparedness and responsiveness, our MRC endeavors to effectively confront and mitigate public health crises as they arise, safeguarding the well-being of our residents.

What We Do

The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a national network of community-based groups of volunteers—medical and public health professional and others—who assist their communities in activities that promote and strengthen public health, emergency response, and community resiliency.
