Great Start Livingston Collaborative & Family Coalition

Mission: To assure a coordinated system of community resources and supports to assist all Livingston County families in providing a great start for their children from prenatal to age eight.

GSL is a partnership of local community agencies, businesses, educators, and families working to improve Early Childhood outcomes in Livingston County.

Great Start Livingston encompasses the Great Start Collaborative and the Great Start Families Coalition. Both committees work together toward achieving a comprehensive early childhood system aligned to address all the factors that influence a child’s readiness for school and life.

We convene community partners including parents who are engaged with families of young children in order to understand each other’s work, identify any gaps, and reduce duplicates in service being provided in our community.
