Who We Are

Mission: To protect, support, educate, and advocate for survivors of child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual violence; and promotes interpersonal safety through education, awareness, and prevention programs.

For more than four decades, LACASA has provided help and hope for victims and survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault.

What We Do

Our comprehensive center offers a 24/7 on-call response team, crisis shelter, legal advocacy, counseling, support groups, and community awareness programs. We are the only domestic violence shelter in Michigan to provide a “Safe Pet Place” on-site for the family pets of our shelter residents. All services for individuals impacted by child abuse or interpersonal violence are provided at no charge through grants and generous private donations.
