Bellringers can sign -up on the site www.registertoring.com There you can choose the location, date and shift convenient for you.

LACASA Collection is a unique upscale resale boutique, located in Kensington Valley Outlets Mall - Howell that supports victims of abuse in our community.  We are looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help with retail shifts and special projects/events at LACASA Collection. Whether you're sorting donations, assisting customers, or helping keep the store running smoothly, every shift you volunteer for makes a meaningful difference. We are looking to add to our team by bringing on board a substitute to help out in the office.  Days would vary as we would have you cover for our existing volunteers when they are off.  No weekends.  Monday - Thursday 8am-4pm and 8am-3pm on Fridays.  We have a different volunteer each day of the week.  We will train you on the various front desk tasks such as taking payments, answering the phones, checking out medical equipment, etc. Our team is a fun group of ladies who enjoy being part of the HSAC and helping our older adults get involved.  Call or email Kim if interested!

The Salvation Army of Livingston County are getting their wheels ready to roll for the ANNUAL GREAT PUMPKIN CLASSIC CAR SHOW to be held on October 4 at the Livingston County Airport (Old Terminal).

CONSTRUCTION VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Livingston County Habitat for Humanity is seeking construction volunteers for our "NEW" Partner Family Build in 2025, located in downtown Fowlerville, Michigan.

MUST BE:

18 years or older

Description:  We are looking for volunteers who enjoy using their hands to help others. Construction-type work experience is preferred but not required. All volunteers receive on-the-job training and instruction. No tools or equipment are necessary; willingness to learn is required.

Description:   Livingston County Habitat for Humanity is seeking construction volunteers to help with our "A Brush with Kindness" home repair program. We welcome individuals who have construction trades experience, but it's not required. On-the-job training and instruction will be provided.

Skills

Livingston County Habitat for Humanity performed over 100 necessary home repair needs in 2024.  Some examples of home repair projects include wheelchair ramps, plumbing projects, bathroom modifications, and flooring repairs.

The Meals on Wheels program needs volunteers in Livingston County

We would love the opportunity for you to be part of our team. This is a commitment of 1-2 hours of your time as little or as often as your schedule will allow. Once a month, once a week, temporary, or on a continuous basis.  Delivering meals to homebound seniors is a very rewarding experience.

Volunteer Driver - ReStore

Join our ReStore volunteer team. We are looking for drivers to help us with donation pick-ups. Experience is welcome, but good people skills, an able body, and a good driving record are required. Tasks include pick-ups from businesses and homes, making deliveries, and driving.

Literacy Tutor Overview

LCLC tutors partner with adult learners in pursuing their personal goals by improving literacy in areas such as reading, writing, speaking, digital literacy, and English as a Second Language (ESL).

LCLC tutors are assigned the same learner to work with weekly for a minimum of 6 months, fostering relationship building while collaboratively working towards mutually agreed-upon literacy-focused goals. Tutors must be 18 years and older.

Tutor Role & Responsibilities

Training

LCLC tutors receive core tutor training, resources, and ongoing training support from our staff and board throughout their experience as an LCLC tutor. In addition to providing initial and ongoing training and support, LCLC also has a tutor communication tool to allow tutors to communicate and share best practices to further collaboration and be a part of the LCLC Tutoring Community!

The Salvation Army of Livingston County is seeking a volunteer to help with some light janitorial duties one day a week (preferably on Thursdays) for 2-3 hours to help clean, vacuum, wipe tables, etc. during the months of June thru Mid-August.
