Belle Isle Park, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Join us for our summer Stewardship Saturdays that will focus on cutting invasive, non-native shrubs and stump treating them with herbicide to restore wet mesic flatwoods. We will work on scattered shrubs throughout the woodland and any patches we can locate ahead of time. The site may be wet or muddy so please bring appropriate footwear or wear old shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Meet on Central Avenue, just east of Portage Way.
